If I had to describe my dealings with RSVP & in particular "Jackson" in 5 words, I would say together they're "The worst country song ever" but if this doesn't give you pause, then allow me to add a few more words & say "Ironically it's run by rednecks & bigots" & given I have had around 16 years dodging scammers from within tech support & beyond, I'm here to stand up & speak out if only to keep the barsards honest & while that might be the short version... this account deserves the full version.

Now if I come across as disgruntled, well I have every reason to be & given there really is no denying my outrage, the truth is a complete defence to an accusations & if you’re considering a membership particularly after having read this, then beware of the sweet talkers of this world, they may not be quite as forthcoming.

The longer version doesn't do anyone any favours suffice to say that whilst there is a moron by the name of Jackson at the helm of the Customer Success Team & my complaint which quite frankly is not only comical, but ironic given my prospects weren't about to get better, given RSVP doesn't like their lack of moral fibre challenged.

Initially after committing to a paid up membership around 2008 & while this site wasn't perfect, it was infinitely better than the ravel it has become thanks to the disingenuous nature of bait & switch, stamp expiry & the steady decline of their moral compass, RSVP was unlikely to improve.

With that presence of mind & unsatisfied with the direction RSVP was taking, I terminated my subscription after 3 or 4 years (around 2011/2012) & with my 2 live stamps remaining from a book of 24 purchased around the same time, I remained a unpaid member so I can come & go as I pleased & for the most part without incident until now (September 2023)

In the last 12 months particularly I became incressingly frustrated with the revolving door policy RSVP has insofar as the scammers are concerned where they would be removed, only to be allowed to return & in some cases only minutes later.

As a result I became increasingly vocal & with a mix of humour, sarcasm & determination, I tried to explain my position.

It was at that time when I began to butt heads with Jackson after some poor & unreasonable responses on his part in regards to my issues, but to be honest for those of you who haven't been paying attention, this unethical behaviour or plague seems to be sweeping the country.

For the sake of clarity I'm against scammers & Jackson seems to be for them or RSVP is ok with them because they actually help boost their numbers & their prospects insofar as their mantra & while Jackson isn't much of a communicator, his emails to me will confirm his approach is more dictatorial, delusional or medicated than what I & others might be accustomed too & if I didn't like it, then I could lump it or words to that effect, but you get the idea.

I immediately found that offensive & confronted him personally & said "are you asking me to leave" when he replied "no, I would never say that" & again words to that effect & in the few hours that had past beyond that exchange, he concocted that I had made threats in order to terminate my profile & given we had a differing approach, mine was deemed to be childish.

What I now understand particularly given my history with the aforementioned ravel is although at one time RSVP may've been created to serve a community need, it has now descended into a thoroughfare of greed, scams & misgivings with little or no respect or regard for their members financial or physical health,.

In October (2023) I again signed up as HarveyNagila to monitor whether or not anything had improved during my absence or whether the scammers were under control given my reports only to realise nothing had changed, but a noticeable escalation in fraudulent activity.

Fully aware of how Jackson would react to my presence, I once again made my reports, some of which I reported 3 or 4 times a day given there ability to traverse the country & appear elsewhere at will with RSVP'S blessing & after a month or so Jackson finally connected the dots & I was once again terminated to claim his hero status citing that I had been threatening to him & his team as AwsumWhelz & sure while I have nothing good to say about Jackson, whatever he thought is clearly in his own imagination.

Now to be clear I don't get personal unless of course I'm provoked & I didn't in any of my correspondence even though it was at the forefront of my mind... I only say this to prepare others of his reaction.

Jackson is happy to come after me for my stance against RSVP's corrupt behaviour & for being a public minded brother, but it seems the scammers are free to come & go as they please, which for the most part contradicts their public business model.

Finally with all the reports I made which tally in the hundreds, they know who the scammers, but willing to do very little about them & while it's true I'd like to see Jackson out on his ass, I did what I did in order to improve the platforms reputation.

If RSVP is the best or most trusted dating site in Australia... clearly we have very low expectations.

The bottom line is that RSVP team makes money on recurring payments and overcharges. They provide no real service but they just don't let you cancel, using all kinds of legal and illegal tricks. I use
J4Date.com
now and I don't have any problems of this kind there, plus they have overall higher caliber of women and better verification process. RSVP is a hoax, maybe it was a good concept once, but its execution is very poor now, it's ridiculous. Trust me, you will do yourself a big favor, if you don't go near this "service".

Since my ex-wife divorced after 24 years: 1989-2013, I’ve dated 6 women. In 7 years and that’s it! The last 4 years, I’ve asked multiple ladies out online and off. ZERO! Online for me is a farce! Total waste of my money. I have dated many attractive women. I understand the pool is quite small considering I’m 56 years old and try to stay optimistic but this is extremely frustrating: NO REPLIES!! So, no more wasting my money with online dating sites.

If you see the user Muzzicato do not waste your time. He doesn't want to spend money on online dating so you are the one wasting your time and money. He likes to come across as he is very excited in getting to know you and wants more information on you, like your Facebook or Instagram. He lures you in with a kind soul who plays with toy figures and he'd be ever so grateful if you could understand, he sends pictures of himself saying he wants you to see him and wants you to believe he is a genuine guy. FAR FROM THE TRUTH. He is a former fat person who found their true narcissistic ego when he lost weight. He complains that no one notices him and girls look through him because of his looks. He complains about his friends not noticing him and he wonders if anyone would notice if something happened to him. After trying to cheer him up as any kind person would do he doesn't care. Before his sob story he agrees to a date, but never showed. He then blocks your number so he doesn't have to face your wrath of anger or hurt. He gives the excuse of having a bad day and being in a depressed mood that made it okay to stand up his date, but goes the extra mile to reject any form of communication. He's in top 100 on rsvp so therefore he's talking to a lot of other girls despite saying he keeps getting rejected and when I happened to be knocking at his online door, he wanted to take a chance.
Don't fall for this pathetic junk. You would be better off talking to your own turds.

This site is a scam. They make up fake profiles that send you kisses first and then when you buy stamps to email them they don't reply and/or their profile mysteriously disappears after a few days. If it happens once or twice you might think nothing of it but I have been robbed of at least 20+ stamps like this. Stay away from this site.

A am a female and feel EXACTLY the same - fake male profiles, you send off kisses and get no replies. Then when you do and buy stamps to make contact, they reply once (hence you don't get your stamp back) then disappear! Seems like a con to me.

I have used RSVP on and off for a long time now (over 5 years), great place to pick up short term relationships and cheap for punters like myself.
80% of women are single mums which I try to avoid but hey if they are hot why not! For the cost of 24 stamps you are pretty much guaranteed 3 to 4 fun times. I have read other guys reviews on here, just don’t take rejection so hard boys play the game for what RSVP site is designed for.

I have been receiving contacts I have met on RSVP onto my Facebook under' people you may know'!!.??? In return they have received mine. So both parties now know each other's surnames when we have yet to meet !! I wrote to RSVP with no satisfactory answer as yet. They advise they do not share members details with Facebook, however have been unable to provide me with a satisfactory answer to this breach of my privacy and security. I also sent them an example to follow up. Has anyone else experienced this?

RSVP.com.au took my money for a 3-month membership, then after barely 30 hours online they decided to disable my profile. What was the reason? I simply used an encrypted and private web browser - TorBrowser - to access my profile! After contacting RSVP support I was finally told it was because of their "security feature." An IT security consultant by trade, several emails to RSVP remain unanswered. A fax sent to the CEO of Fairfax Media (the owners of RSVP.com.au) requesting an escalation to senior management at RSVP for resolution remains unanswered. A PayPal dispute has been lodged but at the time of writing, RSVP has not answered the dispute email. RSVPs Terms & Conditions appear significantly biased against the user/member and in favour of RSVP, which may infringe Australian Consumer Law. RSVP's T&C state that they can delete ANYONE'S profile for ANY reason WITHOUT having to provide a reason or justification. Does this mean if they don't like your race, or hair colour, or skin colour, or occupation, or use of grammar then they can delete your profile or ban you from the site? It appears so! Is this fair - NO. Is this right - NO. They also refuse to provide a phone number to allow aggrieved members the opportunity to speak with a real person, and probably for good reason - an internet search reveals a large volume of complaints against RSVP. On the other hand, eHarmony makes available a toll-free phone number AND a live-chat window. I have lodged a formal complaint with Consumer Affairs. I urge everyone who has ever received dubious service by RSVP.com.au (or they have refused to refund you) to do the same. You're a consumer and thankfully, a number of Australian consumer protection agencies can assist. Would I recommend RSVP.com.au to anyone? My answer is a definite no. Buyer beware.

RSVP are scammers themselves. They have fake profiles or profiles of people who have already cancelled their membership and then RSVP classes these so-called profiles as matches to you.

This has happened to me during the week. It starts off by you messaging your so-called match and then the "profile" gives you a positive reply making out that they are interested in you which makes you purchase stamps from RSVP in order for you to send them an e-mail and talk about yourself in more detail.

The profile I am talking about is called LGlife'sgood which has nothing mentioned in her preference about what type of man she is looking for.

Avoid it like the plague.

What a farce! The write up is nothing more than an rsvp advert, which this site's owner is parading as a 'Review'.

rsvp support is an oxymoron. rsvp are only interested in your money, and do not want to hear from you. Their photo approval his been outsourced to Asia, and it shows. On the rare occasion that you do hear back from their support, they're rude, ignore issues replying selectively to the points you've raised. They do not list a phone number and don't answer the number that I found after much searching on third party sites.

Their stamp system results in your wasting your money on profiles that rsvp has not bothered to vet via any means: e.g. Russian IP created profile for a Russia based girl. Get yer Russian brides from rsvp, hurry hurry hurry!

I'm SO very happy that rsvp is dying a death with free sites such as pof and okcupid eating up their share of members.

BEWARE OF PREDATORS ON RSVP Met a Lady 12mths ago apprared to be wonderful however all she wanted was money/gifts et. as she would say "If you love me you will buy it for me and it makes me feel sexy when you buy me gifts" extremely charming when she wants however is also controlling, also appears to be well off so why does she need you to support her - Oh well well 60k later she has moved on 10 to 12mths is about her stay contacted a previous BF he lost less bur same storeys . RSVP can do very little or ar not interested oh cany give any more information as she has taken out an AVO on me although i have never been violent to her but it stops me from talking - Be carefill she is ruthless - Oh she was also interested in my 87 yr old father as she realised he had a few dollars mind you her previous husband was 30yrs older than her when she married him so my dad was young.

I recently joint and paid for stamps only because I had 6 ladies say they were interested. After sending a nice email they all said they would not like to take things any further. What a SCAM what sort of person would say they are interested then turn around & not even reply to an email. I believe these are fake profiles and RSVP have just taken my money to add to there profits. Beware guys this site is a scam..

I am looking for a 45-55yo female for a relationship.
Many 40yo+ women with really optimistic male criteria; many 50yo+ with even more demanding criteria; many scammers, transvestities, young women from not your local area with scant clothing and impressive chests.
1/3 are real actual women with reasonably current photos, but they take some finding.
Better than many other sites which I cannot mention here. This site deleted without warning a previous identical comment of mine when I included names for these sites for comparison by name.
Just don't expect too much.

I disagree with many of the comments here, i have been with the site for a year or so, I have a 100% response rate to kisses, have dated about 4-5 girls in this time. I have got a few non responses after sending an email to a girl who sent a kiss but presummed she just got cold feet and inactivated her account, didn't like what i had to say etc. I have come across a few scammers but they are easy to spot - overly familiar and accommodating, etc and then ask you for money, but you learn to spot these quickly. This is a massive site, persistence can pay off, make sure you check out other's interests by kisses, even multiple kisses, before emailing to save your stamps.

I'm not sure if I've stumbled across a 'men's only' website as the majority of the comments are men whining (and being quite horrible ... One guy calling the women 'ugly'! Who do you think YOU are??). My experience as a woman is guys not replying to the messages I send. I put effort into writing a message and then get nothing back. It's really disheartening and I start wondering if I'm meant to put a glamour shot up rather than a real photo. Or do I write what I think a guy wants to hear.
Reading these comments I'm actually concerned that the guys on here are unstable (nutcases?).

I am a postgraduate Business student at The University of Queensland. I am currently undertaking some market research as part of my assignment in Brand Strategy course and would like your help. The survey has four sections (including demographics) and should take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete.

The topic we have selected for our assignment is Online Dating, in particular RSVP website. I am interested in hearing from online dating community so I can gain an insight into why people join the community, how it used and the type of attributes of online dating sites attracted to this community.

RSVP is a joke. It seems to be mostly populated by women who are addicted to it and on an ego trip. There are very few genuine women there. You can have a substantial "break" from RSVP and come back to see the same old faces there.
I've found email replies when requested are reasonable but kiss reply rate is very low. I've met quite a few from RSVP but that was some years ago and the number of positive responses now is very low. I've also had 3 reasonably long relationships with women I've met from RSVP.
To be honest I think that guys are substantially disadvantaged. We are "supposed" to take the initiative and this use such sites as they represent the "marketplace" but are then faced with women with substantial issues and game players.
