My sister has a Nokia 7650 which has been stuffed too full of pictures and will now only just turn on but cannot seem to boot into it's operating system - she took it to 'a phone person' who tried to restore factory default but no joy...

any ideas? - she would like to retrieve her pictures if possible!

Cheers

This happened to me a few times in the (very distant) past. Do exactly as follows:

1) First, try starting the phone in 'Safe Mode'

- How? Hold down the 'ABC' key, and start up the phone.

- Dial *#7370# and format the phone new.

- Use as before.

2) If the above doesn't work, try this:

- Switch off the phone.

- Hold down the following three buttons: Green (call answer) button, * button, and '3' button

-While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone

-When the message 'Formatting' appears on the screen, release all of the buttons

Note that you shouldn't switch the phone off or remove the battery when performing either of these operations, and it's advised that the handset has a reasonable amount of battery charge before performing a format/reset.

- Use as before.

3) If still no Joy, to the service center it is.

Hope it helps.
